GERSCHON GREEN PE and PCR are certified "MADE FOR RECYCLING"

The recyclability of our products is very important to us - reducing waste and saving valuable resources should be a no-brainer nowadays. Packaging made of bio-based and PCR materials are the first choice, given that they also have a high recyclability. That's why we had our Green PE and PCR products tested by our Partner Interseroh. Green PE from Gerschon is now certified "ideally recyclable" and in combination with our black dispensers "well recyclable".

Together with the bifa Umweltinstitut, Interseroh has developed a scientifically sound evaluation method that measures the recyclability of packaging. The methodology was verified by experts from the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging IVV.
The packaging analysis comprises a laboratory analysis, a complete reporting including a recommendation for action as well as a certificate.

This includes the international evaluation of recyclability in selected European countries. Interseroh not only examines the materials and design of the packaging, but also the actual sorting and recyclability, which depends heavily on the technical infrastructure on site. The international packaging analysis is currently available for Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Poland and Great Britain.

Black components in particular are difficult to identify by recycling plants, but the special carbon-free composition of our new GSA Bio dispensers was well recognised in the scanner test. As a result, our Green PE dispenser bottles, as well as our Green PE jars received the coveted "Made for Recycling" label.
